Artisanal Custom Commission Agreement
By placing an order, creating a patron account, or commissioning bespoke personalized woodwork on Lipi Online (lipionline.com), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them thoroughly.
1. Artisanal Nature of Bespoke Goods
Every product offered by Lipi Online—including solid teak cutting boards, heirloom family trees, engraved brass & timber desk accessories, and insulated laser-etched tumblers—is custom crafted and permanently ablated with laser technology.
- Natural Timber Variations: Natural solid wood possesses inherent variances in grain pattern, mineral streaks, knots, and color tones. These variations are not defects, but the hallmark of genuine organic hardwoods.
- Customer Submitted Content: You are responsible for ensuring accuracy in custom names, dates, quotes, and monograms provided during checkout. Once production etching starts, customizations cannot be altered.
2. No-Refund & 100% Free Replacement Guarantee
Because each personalized piece is permanently etched to your individual specification, items have no secondary resale market. Consequently, we do not provide monetary refunds or accept discretionary returns.
However, your purchase is completely backed by our 100% Free Replacement Guarantee:
- If an item is damaged or broken during courier transit.
- If our workshop makes an engraving spelling typo differing from your exact submitted instructions.
- If a structural manufacturing defect is discovered upon initial unboxing.
To claim a replacement, notify our concierge within 48 hours of parcel delivery with unboxing photos/video via WhatsApp (+91 7349609990) or email (support@lipionline.com). A fresh replacement will be prioritized and express dispatched to you at no extra charge.
3. Order Acceptance, Pricing & Payments
All prices on Lipi Online are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Orders are confirmed upon receipt of successful payment through our authorized payment gateway (Cashfree Payments).
- Due to the customized nature of our creations, orders require 100% prepaid payment unless otherwise arranged for select corporate bulk gifting orders.
- Lipi Online reserves the right to decline or cancel orders involving hate speech, vulgarity, copyright infringement, or unauthorized trademarks.
4. Production Lead Times & Shipping
Custom laser etching and artisanal wood oil finishing typically requires 7 to 10 business days before courier handover. Express courier transit via Shiprocket partners takes an additional 2 to 6 business days depending on delivery PIN code. We are not liable for transit delays stemming from natural disasters, civic curfews, or incorrect addresses provided by the patron.
5. Patron Accounts & Google Sign-In
When creating an account or signing in via Google OAuth, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
6. Intellectual Property
All website design, brand names, logos, artisanal photography, engraving templates, typography, and software algorithms on Lipi Online are the exclusive intellectual property of Lipi Online and its founders. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial re-use is strictly prohibited.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karnataka, India.
