At Lipi Online, we craft heirloom wooden keepsakes, personalized monogram art, and custom laser-engraved creations. We treat your personal data with the same reverence as our woodwork. We will never sell, lease, or monetize your personal information to third-party data brokers or advertisers.
1. Information We Collect
When you interact with Lipi Online (lipionline.com), create an account, commission custom laser engravings, or contact our artisan studio, we collect only the information strictly necessary to fulfill our service:
- Identity & Contact: Full name, email address, phone number, and delivery address.
- Custom Engraving Instructions: Inscriptions, family monograms, heirloom dates, and custom notes submitted for precision laser etching.
- Account Authentication Credentials: Encrypted authentication tokens, email OTP tokens, or federated OAuth profile details (name, email, profile photo) if you sign in via Google.
- Order & Transaction Records: Order numbers, product SKU selections, delivery updates, and invoice history.
2. Google OAuth & Third-Party Federated Sign-In
Lipi Online offers seamless, secure one-click sign-in through Google OAuth. In accordance with Google API Services User Data Policy:
- Limited Scope: We only request access to basic public profile information (your verified email address, full name, and avatar image) to establish your patron profile.
- Strict Usage: Data received from Google APIs is strictly used to authenticate your session, display your name on your orders, and notify you of delivery status.
- No AI Training: Google user data is never used to train generalized artificial intelligence models or shared with external advertising networks.
3. Payment Processing & Financial Security
All monetary transactions on Lipi Online are processed through Cashfree Payments India, an RBI-licensed, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment aggregator.
Lipi Online does not store, process, or have access to your full credit/debit card numbers, UPI MPINs, or bank net banking credentials. All sensitive financial data is transmitted directly to Cashfree via 256-bit SSL encrypted channels.
4. Logistics & Courier Sharing
To deliver physical heirloom goods to your doorstep across India, we share your recipient name, shipping address, and telephone number with our authorized logistics integration partner, Shiprocket, and underlying express courier networks (Bluedart, Delhivery, Xpressbees). They are bound by contract to utilize your contact details solely for parcel transit and OTP delivery verification.
5. Cookies & Browser Storage
We use essential browser cookies and local storage tokens solely to maintain your shopping cart, preserve your custom monogram customization state, and keep you authenticated across browser refreshes. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from placing orders or accessing your patron account.
6. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023
As a patron, you possess statutory rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access and review your stored profile details and order logs.
- Right to request correction of inaccurate addresses or contact numbers.
- Right to request account deletion and removal of personal records (subject to mandatory GST tax invoice retention laws).
- Right to withdraw consent for marketing newsletters or WhatsApp dispatch notifications.
